Dr. Gayamali Karunaratna, ND
Dr. Gayamali completed her medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). Prior to becoming a naturopathic doctor, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Education degree from the University of Windsor.
She has a special interest and passion for treating skin conditions and women’s health conditions, including fertility. Her areas of focus, specifically in fertility, include preconception care, pre and postnatal care, optimizing the health of couples, acupuncture during IVF treatment, and difficulties with conceiving due to conditions, such as PCOS and endometriosis.
Dr. Gayamali is a certified Naturopathic Birth Doula. She provides mothers-to-be with prenatal care and support before, during, and after labor and delivery to ensure a positive birth experience. This includes providing nutritional counseling, acupuncture, botanical herbs, and physical medicine. She is also passionate about providing preconception care to women who are trying to conceive or facing challenges with conceiving.
Dr. Gayamali believes that an integral role of a healthcare practitioner is to educate and empower individuals to take health into their own hands. She is dedicated to providing individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve optimal health and wellness.
